SPEEDWAY 1

SWINDON will include Renat Gafurov in their team from Tuesday after the Russian was granted a visa to enter the country.

The Robins have been using Ronnie Correy as a short-term replacement, and the American will make his final appearance at Wolves on Monday.

Swindon promoter Alun Rossiter said: ''This is great news as we can now track our originally scheduled line-up.''

SPEEDWAY 2

OXFORD promoter Aaron Lanney has urged fans to be patient with his team after a troublesome start to the new season.

Cheetahs have been beaten in all four of their matches so far, conceding at least 60 points in both fixtures away from home.

Lanney said: ''It''s not time to press the panic button just yet and I firmly believe we can turn things around and start winning matches.''

SPEEDWAY 3

READING gained their first Elite League win in style on Friday as they took victory at the home of defending Champions Coventry.

The Bulldogs avenged their recent home defeat by the Bees with a 48-42 win at Brandon, although Coventry did enough to take the aggregate bonus point.

Reading skipper Greg Hancock was beaten only in the last race, whilst Matej Zagar also performed impressively with paid thirteen
