WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY: SWINDON 52 WOLVES 42
24 March 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

SWINDON 52 WOLVES 42 (Elite League)

A POOR start once again cost Wolves as they went down to a ten-point defeat in Wiltshire - but a late rally has given them hope of the bonus point when they face Swindon at home next Monday.
Just as in their earlier Challenge matches, Wolves could not get going in the early stages and were using the tactical ride facility as early as Heat 5 after dropping twelve points behind.

They trailed by 16 points going into the last two races and were looking at a heavy defeat until things turned around during the penultimate heat.
Clear leader Adrian Miedzinski fell when Fredrik Lindgren, on a tactical ride, was marooned in third place behind the Swindon duo. Miedzinski''s exclusion turned a 5-1 to Swindon into a 5-3 to Wolves, and there was a further bonus in the shape of a tremendous last-heat maximum from Lindgren and Peter Karlsson over Leigh Adams and Lee Richardson.

SWINDON: Leigh Adams 12, Sebastian Ulamek 11, Sebastian Alden 8+1, Mads Korneliussen 7+1, Lee Richardson 6+2, Adrian Miedzinski 5+2, Ronnie Correy 3.
WOLVES: Fredrik Lindgren 13+1, Peter Karlsson 13, Magnus Karlsson 5+1, Billy Hamill 5, Christian Hefenbrock 4+1, Krzysztof Pecyna 1+1, William Lawson 1.
