ARENA-Essex boss Ronnie Russell has moved to bolster his injury-hit line-up by snapping up Russian star Roman Povazhny for the rest of the season.
Povazhny has spent the majority of his British career with Eastbourne and was briefly included in the Eagles team earlier this year. He is expected to make his Hammers debut against Wolverhampton at Purfleet next Wednesday. FORMER Newcastle skipper Jesper Olsen is return to the Diamonds team after over a year out of action. Olsen, a Newcastle rider for six seasons, replaces young Czech rider Lubos Tomicek in the Brough Park club''s line-up. Manager George English said: ''We want to stress in the strongest manner possible that Lubos is right at the top of our 2005 plans.''
