SPEEDWAY 1 EASTBOURNE''S 16-year-old reserve Lewis Bridger has been seeded directly into the British Under-21 Final at King''s Lynn on April 19. The other five seeds are Edward Kennett, Daniel King, James Wright, Ben Wilson and reigning British Under-18 Champion William Lawson. The remaining places in the Final will be decided from the results of next month''s qualifying rounds at Buxton, Stoke and Scunthorpe. SPEEDWAY 2 BERWICK have made major changes to their track surface at Shielfield Park - in a bid to improve their home record of two defeats from two matches so far. Promoter Peter Waite has overseen the re-laying of the track with a new grippy, red top dressing known as Sure-Track. Waite said: ''This should give our riders the capability of sensational passing and provide some spectacular entertainment.''
