SPRINT ST SETS INDUSTRY STANDARD
23 March 2006 - Triumph Motorcycles Ltd

Triumph Motorcycles today announced the delivery date for a new and improved pannier system for the critically acclaimed Sprint ST.

Although reviews of the bike have been excellent, customer feedback highlighted concerns over the performance of the accessory pannier system. Reflecting both their commitment to quality and their desire not to detract from the ownership experience of the otherwise perfect sports tourer, Triumph acted quickly to address the problem by redesigning the panniers.

The new system features several key improvements and will be offered free of charge as an upgrade to customers who bought the original pannier system.

Key features include a revised weather seal to help prevent water ingress. The lid and base liner are now constructed of glass-filled polypropylene for improved rigidity, with the lid further enhanced by double-layered ribbing. A modified key release to aid entry to the pannier and revised luggage straps complete the picture.

The new panniers further strengthen the Sprint ST’s already exceptional credentials and help cement the bike’s position as the industry benchmark for sports touring machines.

The revised two-box pannier systems are available now and the revised top box and three-box system will be available from April 2006. Customers wishing to upgrade their existing Sprint ST pannier system should contact their authorised Triumph dealer.
