20 March 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway
WOLVERHAMPTON 43 POOLE 52 PARRYS International Wolves made a losing start to their home campaign as Poole gave a highly impressive, solid performance to complete an early-season double over the Monmore men. Skipper Peter Karlsson led from the front, and he and Billy Hamill both provided some thrilling action - but support was lacking against a more all-round display from the Pirates. Karlsson''s only defeat of the night came at the hands of Krzysztof Kasprzak when the Wolves skipper was taking his tactical ride, and although Hamill did win Heat 11 for double points the damage had already been done. With their three Challenge matches now at an end, the serious business starts for Wolves on Thursday and they will need everything to come together immediately as they face a tough trip to Swindon. WOLVES: Peter Karlsson 16, Billy Hamill 12, Fredrik Lindgren 4+1, William Lawson 4, Krzysztof Pecyna 3+1, Magnus Karlsson 3, Christian Hefenbrock 1+1. POOLE: Krzysztof Kasprzak 11, Antonio Lindback 10+2, Craig Boyce 8+2, Bjarne Pedersen 8+1, Greg Walasek 5+2, Jonas Davidsson 5, Daniel Davidsson 5.
