MOTORRAD CENTRAL COMING TO EDINBURGH
21 March 2006 - BMW Motorrad GB

Glasgow’s finest and only BMW motorcycle dealership, Motorrad Central, is preparing to branch out across the region this weekend and open a new set of showroom doors in the vibrant city of Edinburgh.

For the past three years, Motorrad Central has been providing an extensive range of motorcycles, Rider Equipment and services to a loyal customer base in Glasgow. Now, a dedicated team of eight full-time staff members are preparing to re-create the successful formula in the Scottish capital as Director, John Dillan, explained:

“Up to 25 per cent of our custom derives from the east coast so we thought it was about time the city’s capital had its own BMW Motorrad dealership. After months of preparations, building and organisation we are now ready and looking forward to the official opening of Motorrad Central East in Edinburgh on Saturday 18 March. We are hoping it will develop the same successful reputation as our Glasgow branch.”

To welcome the latest addition to the BMW Motorrad UK network, all visitors are invited to toast the official event by attending a special open day offering a number of activities including demo rides, a raffle draw and refreshments.

The celebrations are also expected to continue through to the following weekend as Motorrad Central East joins in with the BMW’s New Season Launch celebrations. Edinburgh enthusiasts will have the chance to enter an exclusive prize draw to win a brand new R1200 GS Adventure, as well as see this machine and the new K1200 GT Gran Turismo, in the new showroom.

For further information, customers can contact Motorrad Central East directly by calling 0131 654 2777.
