SPEEDWAY 1 BJARNE Pedersen inspired Poole to a comfortable 59-33 challenge match win over Wolverhampton in their first meeting of the season at Wimborne Road. The Danish Grand Prix stars top scored with 13 as the Pirates gave a solid all-round team performance. Freddie Lindgren was the top Wolves man with 10. Pirates boss Neil Middleditch said: ''The result was pleasing but we have to do it in league matches.'' SPEEDWAY 2 LEIGH Adams has revealed how he would like to see out his British career with Swindon. Adams scored 10+1 in Swindon''s 51-39 challenge match win in front of a big crowd at Oxford on Wednesday. The Australian Grand Prix star said: ''We''ve got such a professional set-up here and I couldn''t ask to ride for a better club. Bringing Terry Russell in has just been the best thing ever.''
