WOLVERHAMPTON give a debut to three new signings when they travel to Poole for their first meeting of the season on Wednesday (7.30pm).

The Monmore men will have 1996 world champion Billy Hamill, German Christian Hefenbrock and British youngster William Lawson in their side for the challenge match.
And team manager Peter Adams believes this meeting, followed by the trip to Peterborough on Thursday, will prove invaluable to his team.

He said: ''We''ve got a new team this season, only three team members return from last year and these early season challenge matches can only serve us well.
''I''ll be looking for a good performance from the team but it''s also an opportunity to iron out any early-season mechanical gremlins before we move into the league action.''
