MORE BMW MOTORRAD ACTION AT THE SCOTTISH SHOW
10 March 2006 - BMW Motorrad GB

BMW Motorrad’s 2006 model line-up is once again ready for more show action as it ventures north of the border for the annual Motor Cycle News Scottish Motorcycle Show, taking place at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh this weekend.

Many enthusiasts will have already seen the latest in Motorrad metal previewed at London’s Alexandra Palace earlier this year. And with just weeks to go until the official BMW Motorrad New Season Launch takes place, BMW’s famous five – the R1200 GS Adventure, K1200 GT, F800 S/ST sports middleweights and the 122 hp R1200 S sports bike – will once again be lighting up the BMW stand.

Additionally, visitors can take advantage of yet another chance to see BMW Motorrad’s hugely successful new generation machines that received the prestigious MCN Award plaudits at last year’s annual awards ceremony. Award-winning bikes on display will include the R1200 RT (Best Tourer), K1200 S (Best Sports Tourer) along with the legendary R1200 GS (Best All-rounder).

The imminent arrival of the 2006 Rider Equipment collection catalogue promises an even greater range of stylish and quality motorcycle clothing items to suit all types of rider. Each garment is designed using the most advanced materials available, and stand visitors will be able to admire the very latest products on offer throughout the two-day event such as the new BMW Rallye 2 Pro and Streetguard 2 suits.

As always, dedicated BMW Motorrad staff will be on hand to assist with any enquiries and enthusiasts also have access to a wide range of promotional literature, including the 52-page Spring issue of BMW Bikes magazine and this year’s comprehensive World of BMW Activity Brochure.

Visit the BMW Motorrad stand at this year’s MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 March. Further details, including booking and ticket information, can be found by visiting www.motorcyclenews.com
