TRIUMPH MAKES IT EASY, RIDER!
02 March 2006 - Triumph Motorcycles Ltd
Triumph Motorcycles and BSM today announced a new partnership to help budding riders get on the open road.
Triumph, the iconic British motorbike manufacturer, now offers the ‘Kick Start’ course that includes everything a new rider needs to safely experience the elemental fun of riding. Candidates will learn to ride on a Triumph Bonneville, in Triumph protective gear, with tuition taking place at BSM’s excellent training facilities in Birmingham. As their confidence grows they will take a guided ride to the high-tech Triumph factory in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Candidates will leave with an unrivalled insight into one of the most advanced motorcycle production facilities in the world, and a feeling for the passion that goes into every bike. To ensure they are fully covered, and in recognition of the high-quality training they will receive, candidates will be eligible to apply for a discounted quote on their insurance premiums, courtesy of Triumph Rider Insurance and BSM. Tue Mantoni, Commercial Director at Triumph, commented: ''We realised that many people were interested in getting on a Triumph but simply didn’t know how to get started. We wanted to create a Triumph experience that offers a complete package for new riders, making it as easy and hassle-free as possible for them to start riding.'' Head of BSM Rider Training Mike Loydall added: ''We’re thrilled to be working in partnership with Triumph and continuing our aim to improve training standards in the UK. We look forward to offering excellent training to new riders of Triumph motorcycles.'' Right now, candidates can buy the retro-styled Bonneville SE and ‘Kick Start’ course for only £5,999. For the new budding rider, who is not yet ready to purchase a bike, the ‘training only’ option costs £1,099. Both options include CBT and Direct Access training, accommodation and food. Alongside the two courses for new riders, a further three courses are aimed at either ‘born-again-bikers’ or existing Triumph riders. These start from only £399 for an inclusive two-day course. Available to book now, courses will begin from March 2006. For more information visit your nearest Triumph dealer or call the dedicated Triumph BSM phone line on 08700 104322.
