FORMER Reading manager Tim Sugar will be back at Smallmead for the opening night of the season - in charge of a Great Britain Select side.
Sugar, who was in charge during the glory days of the 90s, will face his former club on Monday, March 13.
He said: ''I''m very pleased to be given the chance. It will be nice to be manager of a team of Elite League riders.''

SPEEDWAY 2

GREAT Britain world cup star Simon Stead is on his way back to Workington - for one night only.
Stead will ride alongside Glasgow''s Shane Parker and Kevin Little of Redcar in the Northern Counties Championship on Saturday March 11.
Comets boss Graham Drury said: ''Simon is the track record holder here, he''s still very popular and he will be one of the favourites to win the meeting.''
