WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY NEWS
23 February 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

WOLVERHAMPTON roar into a new season of speedway action next month with renewed optimism after a winter of rebuilding.

And we would like to invite you and representatives of your media organisation to join us at our pre-season press and practice session.

The event takes place at Monmore Green Stadium, Sutherland Avenue, Wolverhamption on Monday March 13.

Join us in the upstairs bar of the main stand where all the riders and management team will be available for interviews and photographs. A complimentary buffet and refreshments will be served from 6.15pm before the team head down to the track for practice and testing.

PETER KARLSSON returns to the club this year after a successful season on loan to Peterborough. The Swede is one of Wolverhampton''s all-time greats.

His fellow countryman FREDDIE LINDGREN is widely regarded as a world champion in the making.

And speaking of world champions, the 1996 winner BILLY HAMILL has joined Wolverhampton - 16-years after making his British debut with their former Black Country rivals, the old Cradley Heath club!

MAGNUS KARLSSON and KRZYSTOF PECYNA, both members of last season''s squad, complete the main body of the team and in reserve the club have talented youngsters CHRISTIAN HEFENBROCK - a young German in his debut British season - and British youngsters BEN WILSON and WILLIAM LAWSON.

We hope you can join us on March 13.
