YAMAHA YZF-R1SP AVAILABLE AT INFINITY PURLEY
Only 500 of these highly exclusive machines were produced for the European market, of which only 50 made it to the UK. Created to satisfy the strong demand from experienced riders looking for the ultimate supersport performance, this high specification ‘SP’ version of the YZF-R1 is based on the latest generation R1 and fitted with a range of high quality racing components, and is. The R1SP is a specially developed motorcycle featuring exclusive one-off components that have been designed and tested specifically for it, including a modified Deltabox V frame, extended swing arm, Öhlins front forks and rear shock, forged aluminium Marchesini wheels and slipper clutch.
To complete the package, the R1SP has its own distinctive black/gold colour scheme, complete with ‘golden’ silencers. Demand is expected to be strong, but Infinity has held the price at £13,995 on the road.
