SECOND ROUND HARE AND HOUND: RIDGECREST, CA

The second round of the Hare and Hound series was held in Ridgecrest, CA and welcomed the KTM Off-Road trio of David Pearson, Matt Gosnell and Kellon Walch with very dry and dusty conditions.

A two mile uphill bomb run began the start of the second round and as the stretch of track grew steeper, David Pearson held his own in the top five, calculatingly picking off riders to move up higher in the ranks. Teammates Kellon Walch and Matt Gosnell had difficult starts which put them in the back of the pack.

A determined Gosnell made a hard charge to the front of the line and moved into the top five by the end of the first loop. The first gas stop saw David Pearson pit second while Gosnell pitted fifth.

The second loop proved to be extremely technical as David Pearson, still maintaining a strong charge for the lead slightly struggled to get up a steep hill. In the end, all KTM Off-Road riders put in a great effort and proved once again that KTM is a force to be reckoned with.
