SPEEDWAY 1 GLASGOW have moved quickly to sign Edinburgh asset Robert Ksiezak as a replacement for the injured Adam Roynon. Roynon has not fully recovered from a serious arm injury sustained late in the 2005 campaign, and his comeback date is still uncertain. Tigers co-promoter Alan Dick said: ''Robert is the best rider available to fill the position and we were pleased to be able to conclude a deal.'' SPEEDWAY 2 NEWCASTLE are expected to offer their team captaincy to James Grieves - although a final decision will not be taken until a pre-season riders'' meeting. Grieves stood in for Phil Morris, who is now with Belle Vue, on several occasions last season. Manager George English said: ''James did a great job so I''d like to see him take on the extra responsibility from the start, but it''s down to the riders.''
