BRITISH SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES 13.8.04
13 August 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

SHEFFIELD skipper Sean Wilson has admitted for the first time that his season looks over.

Wilson is still having intense physio on his neck after suffering a broken bone in May which resulted in him wearing a surgical halo for almost two-months. He said: ''I''ve got an appointment back at the hospital on September 1, but it looks increasingly like I won''t be racing competitively this season.''

SCOTT Robson is expected to be fit for the Premier League Four Team Tournament at Workington on August 21. The Rye House man was hurt when riding for Elite League club Belle Vue in mid-week and was taken to hospital with a suspected back injury. Rye House boss Len Silver said: ''He''ll miss this weekend but we feel very hopeful that he will make it for the big event at Workington.''
