Albert Cabestany is in undisputed second place in the Indoor Championship

With his second place finish in the Indoor of Barcelona, the Sherco rider Albert Cabestany trims the distance separating him from the present leader, who finished in third place behind Bou and Cabestany. Albert finished the first lap tied with Adam Raga, Raga was awarded first place due to his faster time through the timed section. Albert and Adam battled the entire final lap with Albert able to finally surpass Adam. With this second place finish the distance between the two riders has been reduced to five points in the provisional standings. With the victory by Bou the championship battle has become very tight.

Albert Cabestany: ''Despite not obtaining the victory, I am very satisfied with this second place finish. I have been ill all week with the flu and did not get to train like I wanted to. With Raga finishing third, the fight for the Championship is closer than before; I think this is a positive thing.''
