MIKE HACKER AND RACING LEGEND JAY SPRINGSTEEN JOIN SUPERTRAPP RACING FOR 2006

SuperTrapp Industries will continue as the primary sponsor of Mike Hacker for the fifth consecutive year in AMA Pro-Racing’s, 2006 Certified Pre-Owned Ford Flat Track Series.

SuperTrapp will also join with Bartels’ Harley-Davidson and Rocks Springs Land and Timber to sponsor hall-of-famer Jay Springsteen in selected races of this year’s circuit. Spingsteen will team up with his long-time tuner and fellow Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee, Bill Werner.

After a 7th place finish in the 2004 point standings, shoulder surgery prevented Hacker from racing during much of last year’s season.

Now, Hacker insists he is ready to “get back to winning races” and thanks SuperTrapp for continued support during last year’s surgery. “They’re just a great company to race for.” This year, DOC’s Harley Davidson of St. Louis, MO., Joins the team to support Hacker. “With companies like SuperTrapp and DOC’s backing me I feel more confident than ever,” said Hacker.

SuperTrapp Race Coordinator Ted Bradley is equally enthused about Hacker’s return to Flat Track Racing. “This is our fifth year sponsoring Mike,” Bradley said. “I’m proud to say he’s back and ready to race.”

Springsteen has won three AMA Grand National Championships and 43 National Championship flat track races during his 28-year career as a full-time racer. After receiving the Rookie of the Year award in 1975, Springsteen and Werner won Grand National Championships in 1976, 1977 and 1978.

“It is an honor and a privilege to work with Jay Springsteen and Bill Werner, they are true legends in the racing world,” said Bradley. ““For thirty years they have dominated the flat track racing circuit and we’d love to see them continue in 2006.”
