Dunlop have announced that the Tech 3 Yamaha team will compete in the 2006 MotoGP World Championship on Dunlop tyres.

Tech 3, the French based team run by Herve Poncharal is no stranger to Dunlop - a long association in 250cc culminating with the Tech 3 Chesterfield Yamahas finishing 1st (Olivier Jacque) and 2nd (Shinya Nakano) in the 250cc World Championship of 2000.

The 2006 Tech 3 Yamaha bikes, riders and team personnel will appear in their final livery at the official launch test for the 2006 MotoGP season at Barcelona on March 3-5. The team is now moving to Qatar for a further 3 day test starting Feb 5th where Carlos Checa will get his first taste of the new Yamaha M1/ Dunlop package. A further three day test at Sepang brings the teams to Europe for six more days of testing at Barcelona and Jerez before the first GP of the 17 round Championship - the Spanish GP at Jerez on March 26th.
