SPEEDWAY 1 BERWICK have finally confirmed they will continue racing at Premier League level next season - after months of speculation. Bandits boss Peter Waite held back on his decision as he issued a plea for extra financial support at the border club. He said: ''After a long fight over the winter we have managed to re-structure the club to enable us to return to our rightful place in the Premier League.'' SPEEDWAY 2 RECAR have signed teenager Jack Hargreaves for their first season in the Premier League. Hargreaves, 17, started his career as a 15-year-old with Redcar owner Chris Van Straaten in Wolverhampton''s Conference League team. Bears co-promoter Gareth Rogers said: ''Both parties are pleased to be working together again and it''s a great opportunity for Jack to progress his career. I can also confirm we are close to another signing.''
