RMI FEDERATION TAKES THE LEAD AT MOTORCYCLE TRADE EXPO
01 February 2006 - ReMIT
‘The RMI Federation - exhibiting alongside its training division, Retail Motor Industry Training (ReMIT) - has reported a noticeable increase in enquiries from prospective members following the recent Motorcycle Trade Expo in Coventry,’ said Mike Owen, head of the RMI Motorcycle Retailers Association.
‘It is clear from our conversations that motorcycle businesses are increasingly concerned about the growing complexity of the market, and the competitive industry climate. We have a great deal to offer them, especially through our influence among policy-makers in Government, and helping to manage the impact of endless legislation. On a practical level, exclusive access to the best advice and specialist services within the motor industry, and provision of some of the best training resources available via ReMIT, provide real value for money.’ Stephen Ramsay, ReMIT managing director, added: ‘We are passionate about communicating our benefits to motorcycle businesses - at any one time thousands of young people will be working towards qualifications on ReMIT-managed apprenticeships. Investing in good quality staff is a necessity, not a luxury, in today’s business environment.’
