Honda has become one of the first motorcycle manufacturers to offer its own finance packages to UK motorcycle customers.

Honda Finance – which is a 100% owned subsidiary of Honda Motor Europe – has been providing Honda car owners with a reliable and competitive financing solution since 1997. From the start of 2006, the service has now begun for Honda’s 45- strong range of on and off-road motorcycles, too.

To celebrate the launch of Honda Finance for motorcycles, a 0% finance deal on three of its popular middleweight models has been announced. Prospective owners of the World and British Supersport Championship winning CBR600RR, the evergreen CBR600F and exciting CB600 Hornet can now take advantage of a very competitive finance package. For example: a CBR600RR which is £7299 on the road can be yours on 0% finance with just a 25% deposit of £1824.75 and 24 monthly payments of £228.09. The campaign is effective now and is available until 31 March.

Philip Ross, General Manager for Honda Finance Europe, commented: ''The reason why people choose our motorcycles is that they trust our product, they rely on it and they know it won’t let them down. We are sure that the same trust will apply to our own Honda Finance services, with attractive finance offers that will help the customer purchase their next Honda machine. To aid customers in their buying decision, Honda authorised dealers have also been given a financial stocking package to enable them to add more demonstrators to their fleets and help widen the range of Honda bikes in stock for customers to look at.”

All of Honda’s 150 dealers have promotion literature and a point of sale system in- store from 1 February, meanwhile Honda Finance’s 17 area managers will be working closely with the dealerships to ensure that the new scheme gives the salesmen an advantage to close the deal and sell more Honda motorcycles in 2006.
