SPEEDWAY 1

WEYMOUTH are set to come to the tapes for the Conference League season after a successful takeover.
Resort businessman Phil Bartlett is the new chairman of the Wildcats after agreeing a deal with Brian White who was evicted from the Wessex Stadium.

Bartlett said: ''It''s been a long, drawn out affair, but now things are sorted everyone is looking forward to moving on in the right direction.''

SPEEDWAY 2

EDINBURGH have signed Danish youngster Henrik Moller - on the recommendation of national team manager Jan Staechmann.
Monarchs co-promoter John Campbell has been in regular contact with Moller''s representatives since the end of last season.

Moller said: ''I am very much looking forward to coming to Scotland. I know it will be hard and I have heard that the matches with the two Scottish clubs are always exciting.''
