CADWELL PARK SETS DATES FOR PRE-SEASON MOTORCYCLE TEST DAYS
29 January 2006 - MotorSport Vision
General tests for all types of race bike on Full circuit until April
MotorSport Vision has added several pre-season test days for motorcycle racers to the calendar at Cadwell Park, starting next month and running until April. Test days were run every Thursday at the picturesque Lincolnshire track for many years until the early 1990s, after the circuit was taken over by Brands Hatch Leisure Group, when they were moved to run immediately prior to race events. Now, MSV is aiming to help race teams and competitors plan their pre-season testing as effectively as possible by setting up a programme of regular open pit lane test days, mostly on Thursdays. To make the Test Days applicable to the majority of racers, participants will get to test on the technically difficult Full configuration of the Cadwell circuit instead of the shorter Club version used in previous years. Whether you are perfecting tyre set-ups, acclimatising to a new bike or simply learning the track layout, MotorSport Vision test days are the perfect way to prepare for the season ahead. Test days will be run at Cadwell Park on the following dates: Sunday, February 5, Sunday, February 12 Thursday, February 23 Thursday March 2 Thursday, March 9 Thursday, March 16 Friday, March 24 Thursday, March 30 Thursday, April 6 Thursday, April 20 Thursday, April 27 With an open pit lane offering plenty of track time, there will be a maximum of 50 bikes per day. Weekend days will cost £90 per bike and weekdays £75. Participants will need to show their race licences on arrival at the circuit. Bookings can be made by calling the circuit direct on 01507 343248 or logging on to www.motorsportvision.co.uk/testing.
