BERING BACK UK’S FASTEST WOMAN MOTORCYCLE RACER
Maria Costello, the UK’s fastest woman motorcycle racer, this week confirmed that Bering would become her main sponsor for the 2006-racing season. The French based motorcycle clothing company confirmed the deal at the recent Motorcycle Trade Expo Show. Costello impressed Bering with her success during 2005 when she became the first ever female to take a podium finish at the Isle of Man. “They were very proud when I made history in 2005 and they want to see me progress further. This partnership will add even more to the Bering name,” said Costello. Olivier de Roaldes, Chairman and Managing Director, and Herve Gontier, Commercial Group Director confirmed the agreement, when they visited Bering UK during the Expo Show. The Bering brand is at the current time the most influential and important sponsor for Costello’s forthcoming season. ''We are very pleased to be able to offer Maria support this season as we believe in her, both in her role as PR and as a successful racer,'' said Olivier de Roaldes. Costello’s position as a sponsored rider will be complimented by her PR work for Bering UK and she will continue to raise the profile of the brand amongst the motorcycling community.
