SPEEDWAY 1 BRENT Werner is returing to the Elite League with Eastbourne - five years on from his last season with the club. The American won the Premier League with Rye House in 2005 and joins Dean Barker and Andrew Moore as riders named to complete the Eagles team. Promoter Jon Cook said: ''We know all about Brent''s capabilities and he will prove to be a strong addition to the team.'' SPEEDWAY 2 SEAN Wilson is relishing the prospect of making his New Year Classic debut at Newport on Sunday. Wilson is currently without a team place for this season but will stage his 20-year celebration meeting at Sheffield in March. He said: ''I''m really looking forward to it as I''ve never done this meeting before, and I''d like to thank Tim Stone for allowing us to have a merchandise stall there.''
