SPEEDWAY 1 KRZYSZTOF Pecyna has agreed terms with Wolverhampton and will return for a second season with the Monmore club this year. Part of Pecyna''s contract states that the Pole must take English lessons to increase his communication with the rest of the team. Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said: ''We''re pleased to have Krzysztof back on board, he is popular with our fans.'' SPEEDWAY 2 AUSTRALIAN star Rusty Harrison is on his way back to Edinburgh this year for his seecond season at Armadale. The Monarchs have reached agreement with Harrison''s parent club Workington for an extension to last year''s loan deal for the 24 year-old. Edinburgh co-promoter Alex Harkness said: ''We''ve had to be patient to get Rusty and thankfully it''s all worked out in the end.'' SPEEDWAY 3 PAUL Thorp has become the second former Hull rider to make the switch from Craven Park to Workington this winter. Thorp joins his ex-Vikings team-mate Garry Stead in the Comets new-look line-up, which also includes rising British star Ritchie Hawkins. Comets boss Graham Drury has confirmed that his reserve spots will include a return for Aidan Collins and a first chance in the Premier League for Lee Derbyshire. SPEEDWAY 4 THE Isle of Wight have won the race to sign hot prospect Chris Holder for the forthcoming Premier League campaign. The reigning Australian Under-21 Champion''s progress has been tracked by several clubs over the winter, including some from the Elite League. Islanders boss Dave Pavitt said: ''Chris is very highly rated with plenty of other teams showing a strong interest, so we are delighted that he is joining us.''
