SHERCO WILL HAVE A STRONG PRESENCE IN THE 2006 ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP
04 January 2006 - Sherco

Sherco will compete in the World Enduro Championship with riders in the E2 category and the E3 category one of the riders will be debuting the new 5.1 in the E3 category.

Sherco will compete in the 2006 Enduro Championship of the world with an official factory team consisting of three riders: the Belgians, Thierry Klutz (9th in 2005) and Michael Vukcevic along with Spanish rider Joan Pedrero who finished in fourth place in the E2 category in the 2005 Championship of Spain.

Vukcevic will debut the new 5.1 in the E3 category which will place riders in both the E2 and E3 class of the championship thus confirming the involvement of the trademark in this discipline. Pedrero and Klutz will compete in the E2 where they have experience on the 4.5i.

The team will include a fully equipped truck-workshop that will provide complete logistic support for the official team and will offer technical support for any private rider, who is competing in the World Championship on a Sherco motorcycle.

In parallel with the international calendar the official Sherco riders will participate in their respective National Championships, except for Vukcevic who will compete in the Championship of France.

With this renewed effort Sherco is battling to position itself as one of the major players in the Enduro World, a very hard discipline in which to compete. Despite the youthfulness of the brand they had some very good results in 2005 and hope to prove in 2006 that they are a force to be reckoned with.
