SPEEDWAY 1

OXFORD have signed Wolverhampton''s David Howe and hot Swedish prospect Eric Andersson.

The duo join Davey Watt in a new-look Cheetahs side under owner Aaron Lanney, who is delighted with the way his team building is progressing.

Lanney said: ''I''m really pleased with the way things are going so far, and I feel we will have a very solid, competitive team who will entertain our fans.''

SPEEDWAY 2

AUSTRALIAN veteran Craig Boyce is making a surprise return to the top flight with parent club Poole.

Boyce has spent the last two seasons starring at Premier League level for the Isle of Wight.

He said: ''I feel that I still have a lot to offer, and the thought of making a return to the Poole side is really exciting. I''m more than confident I can do a good job.''

SPEEDWAY 3

TEENAGE sensation Lewis Bridger is moving into the Elite League on a full-time basis next season after signing up with Eastbourne.

The 16-year-old will make the jump straight from Conference side Weymouth without racing in the middle tier of the sport.

Eagles boss Jon Cook said: ''It''s a very ambitious move and one we wholeheartedly support. It is a tremendously exciting prospect.''
