SPEEDWAY 1 MILDENHALL have swooped to sign experienced Australian Jason Lyons from Belle Vue. Lyons had a successful spell with Newcastle in the Premier League two seasons ago and is expected to be a big hit with the West Row fans. Fen Tigers chief Mick Horton said: ''We have broke the bank to get him but he will be worth it. I believe I have secured the signing of the season.'' SPEEDWAY 2 STOKE have announced their first winter signing with Alan Mogridge agreeing a new deal with the club. And the rider has confirmed 2006 will be his last season as a rider. He said: ''I have decided that next season will be my last and it goes without saying I hope it is a good one. Coming back to Stoke was an easy decision for me to make.'' SPEEDWAY 3 VETERAN Neil Collins will remain at Newport in 2006 after agreeing a deal with Wasps promoter Tim Stone. Collins, now 44, was a huge success in his first season at the Hayley Stadium and added a point to his average. Stone said: ''I had no hestitation in bringing Neil back, the way he rode for us was fantastic and I''m looking forward to more of the same.''
