OXFORD have made Davey Watt their first signing of the Aaron Lanney era.
The Australian has been left out of Eastbourne''s plans because of the 40-point limit and Lanney wasted no time in snapping him up.
He said: ''I was impressed with Davey last season and he is very keen to come to Oxford which was a major factor in signing him. It''s a good starting point with team building.''

RENAT Gafurov will become the first Russian ever to ride for Swindon next season.
The 23-year-old represented his country in last season''s world cup and had a brief spell with Oxford.
Robins boss Alun Rossiter said: ''I''m very excited about seeing him in action for us. He is a good young rider and will create a buzz of excitement on the terraces and he impressed me last season.''

JOE Screen is back with Belle Vue for a third successive season - and this time he will be an Aces asset.
The Manchester club have completed a deal with Eastbourne to buy his contract.
Screen said: ''I''m pleased to be back at Belle Vue and it''s nice to be a fully fledged Aces rider once again. I''m looking forward to next season and I''m making plans already.''

STOKE are set to become the first Premier League club to install an airfence after a proposal from club backer Cyril Chell.
Chell took the idea to Potters chief Dave Tattum and the fence has now been ordered in time for next year.
Tattum said ''We are really grateful to the forethought of Cyril Chell and this can only help in our ambitions to bring the top meetings to Loomer Road.''
