NORTON HITS THE ROAD
05 July 2004 - Norton Motorsports inc.
Norton is proud to announce the extension of its relationship with Van Dam Trucking, Inc. through the installation of new graphics on the Van Dam trailer.
Van Dam’s 53’ trailer has been fully wrapped in the Norton logo, a photo of the new 952 Commando roadster and the latest Norton Girl. John Van Dam, owner/operator of Van Dam Trucking, is a 25 year veteran of the trucking business whose primary business is the transportation and delivery of fine motorcycles and automobiles. “I can’t put into words how excited I am to have extended our relationship with John [Van Dam]”, stated Norton President Kenny Dreer. “John is the best in the business. I’ve worked with him for years delivering my VR 880’s and to see the bike and the Norton logo on a truck that big is just breath-taking!” The new Norton trailer was introduced at the International Superbike Classic at Laguna Seca in July and can be seen on the highways of America all year long. “I’m on the road over 250 days a year stopping at garages and dealerships of the owners of some of the finest vehicles you can imagine. To be able to represent Norton in this capacity is a real thrill” said the Dutch-born Mr. Van Dam.
