SPEEDWAY 1 PETER Karlsson is on his way back to Wolverhampton to lead their Elite League challenge next season. Karlsson, 36 next month, is one of the club''s all-time great riders having made almost 400 appearances since his debut in 1990. He spent last season with Peterborough. Wolves boss Chris Van Straaten said: ''Peter was the logical choice for us to return when it became obvious we needed a new top rider.'' SPEEDWAY 2 POOLE have confirmed the signings of Krzysztof Kasprzak and Daniel Davidsson for next season. Polish international Kasprzak is tipped to be a Grand Prix star in the future and Davidsson, who was at Peterborough last season, has an important role at reserve. Pirates chief Matt Ford said: ''I believe both riders will play a big part in helping us mount another challenge for the championship next year.'' SPEEDWAY 3 ARENA-ESSEX have signed Henning Bager for a second spell with the Purfleet club. The Dane was with Peterborough last season and impressed on his two visits to his former track. Hammers boss Ronnie Russell said: ''We''re delighted to welcome Henning back to the club and we know he is equally as pleased to be with us again. He is improving all the time and will prove important.'' SPEEDWAY 4 JAMES Brundle is on his way back to Mildenhall for their debut Premier League season. Brundle, who saw his 2005 season with King''s Lynn ruined by injury, raced for the Fen Tigers at Conference League level. He joins Shaun Tacey as a confirmed starter next March. He said: ''It''s a track I''ve always loved to ride and I really aim to improve myself and improve my average.''
