KARLSSON ON THE WAY BACK
27 November 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

PETER Karlsson is on his way back to Wolverhampton to lead their Elite League challenge next season.

Karlsson, 36 next month, is one of the club''s all-time great riders having made almost 400 appearances since his debut in 1990.

He spent last season with Peterborough where he helped the Panthers reach the play-offs.

But now the Swede is back at his adopted British home as a replacement for injured brother Mikael who misses the first part of next season with a broken thigh.
Wolves boss Chris Van Straaten said: ''Peter was the logical choice for us to return hwne it became obvious we needed a new top rider.

''He has told us he would like to see out his British career with Wolverhampton and we have no problem with that. We are pleased to welcome PK back to the club and I''m sure the fans will be pleased to see him back in our colours.''
