SPEEDWAY 1 OXFORD have changed their racenight to Wednesday for next season to avoid a congested fixture list. Ipswich, Swindon and Peterborough are all racing home meetings on a Thursday which was Oxford''s designated racenight last season. Cheetahs boss Aaron Lanney said: ''This is clearly the best option for the club and it avoids a clash with other local tracks which seemed to be the case last season.'' SPEEDWAY 2 BELLE VUE boss Ian Thomas is preparing to make changes to his team for next season. The new 40-point limit for team building has left Thomas with a major headache after a successful first season in charge. He said: ''I don''t want to lose anyone because we have a successful side with a great team spirit. The lads want to stick together but that is just not possible.''
