OXFORD have changed their racenight to Wednesday for next season to avoid a congested fixture list.

Ipswich, Swindon and Peterborough are all racing home meetings on a Thursday which was Oxford''s designated racenight last season.

Cheetahs boss Aaron Lanney said: ''This is clearly the best option for the club and it avoids a clash with other local tracks which seemed to be the case last season.''

BELLE VUE boss Ian Thomas is preparing to make changes to his team for next season.
The new 40-point limit for team building has left Thomas with a major headache after a successful first season in charge.

He said: ''I don''t want to lose anyone because we have a successful side with a great team spirit. The lads want to stick together but that is just not possible.''
