GENUINE VESPA CHROME ACCESSORIES FOR NEW GT SCOOTERS
28 November 2005 - Vespa

The Vespa GT and GTS scooters have been a big hit with British riders this year, thanks to their rugged steel bodywork, classic Italian styling and reliable automatic 4-stroke motors.

Vespa have introduced a collection of bolt-on chrome accessories to protect these delicious looking scooters from dents and scratches and to increase luggage capacity. Apart from the practical benefits, these kits also add a flavour of the Sixties to both the 200 and 250cc machines.

Retailing for £105.79, the front carrier is available for both GT and GTS models and is spring-loaded to fold away when not in use. The rear version fits over the integral alloy rear carrier and also folds away neatly. Produced only for the 200cc GT, it sells for £96.33.

Extra protection is provided by the chrome-plated front bumper, which fits around the steel mudguard and is priced at £50.88 and the chrome-plated rear side protection, which wraps around the rear panels of the scooter and costs £160.68.

All of these accessories are manufactured from high-quality chrome, which has a five-layer galvanic plating to avoid rusting when exposed to air and the elements, joined by braze welding to enhance the design.

A full “Touring” kit is also available, which comprises the rear carrier (GT only as the GTS has a rear rack as standard), front carrier, rear and front protections plus the mudguard bumper rail and retails for £380 inc. Vat.
