SPEEDWAY 1 ARENA-ESSEX Ronnie Russell boss wants a reduction in the Elite League points limit - to make more riders available. He said: ''I have never been a supporter of reducing the points limit on the grounds of saving money, because it doesn''t save one penny piece. ''But I believe we must reduce it to create rider movement, otherwise some clubs may struggle to put together a competitive team with the addition of Reading.'' SPEEDWAY 2 GLENN Cunningham has made a new deal with Somerset his top priority for next season. The former Premier League Riders'' Champion is a firm favourite with the Premier League club. He said: ''I love Somerset and I want to be back next year. I think I can also improve as a rider, I was steady without any major dramas last season but next season I want to do better.''
