SHERCO ACADEMY TRIALS SCHOOL ''DOWN UNDER'' The Instructors for this Training camp were Former World No.3 & SSDT Winner Joan Pons (Spain), European Junior Champion Christian Kregeloh (Germany) & Australian Masters Champion Don Murray. The riders in the school were all taken through some basic stretching exercises prior to beginning the training. The riders were split up into groups & Pons set up some basic techniques for all the riders to try. Pons also assisted all the riders with correct bike setup including handlebar & lever positioning. The second day consisted of more pre-training stretches followed by bike maintenance tips then into some more training. The techniques for the harder group included big steps & balancing tips on tops of rocks. The lower grades worked hard on good cornering techniques as well as front & rear wheel hopping. The Academy concluded with an impressive Feet Up display on the rocks by Joan Pons and some of the top riders in the school.
