SPEEDWAY 1 NICKI Pedersen has signed a new contract with Eastbourne. The Elite League Riders'' champion put pen to paper in a brief visit from Denmark. Eastbourne boss Jon Cook said: ''Nicki has found his UK home at Eastbourne and we are all delighted that he will be returning. He plays such an important part of our future plans that we''re already discussing extending the contract to include 2007.'' SPEEDWAY 2 OXFORD Cheetahs are officially in new hands - after Dorset businessman Aaron Lanney put pen to paper to buy the club from former promoter Steve Purchase. The deal was completed just hours before Lanney jetted out to Tenerife for the sport''s AGM which takes place from November 21-23. He said: ''Everything has gone to plan and I am the owner of Oxford Speedway and it''s a very proud moment for me.''
