20 November 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association
SPEEDWAY 1 ELITE League newcomers Reading have been linked with a move for American star Greg Hancock. Reports suggest Hancock could be set to follow Grand Prix organisers BSI to Smallmead following their takeover last week. The club have also been linked with current Reading favourites Matej Zagar and Danny Bird but no signings will be made until after the sport''s AGM which ends in Tenerife on November 23. SPEEDWAY 2 COVENTRY co-promoter Colin Pratt admits he is facing up to the prospect of at least one change to his title winning side next season. Pratt has arrived in Tenerife for British Speedway''s AGM - and he wants to see the points limit kept at 42.5. He said: ''The team we finished the season with is just over 42.5, so we will probably have to make a change or two.''
