MILWARD MEMORIAL RIDE UPDATE

The Milward Memorial Ride duo have reached Agadir in southern Morocco

They arrive a week after leaving London, just about half way to their destination in Banjul.

A rough sea crossing was followed by two hard days in the saddle as Dave and Craig concentrated on getting miles under their belts in Spain. Mild weather
in Bilbao was replaced by freezing fog and rain on the road to Madrid. A night''s stop and warm up in Valdepenas was followed by another chill day''s
ride to Algeciras and the Ferry to Ceuta.

Entering Morocco the following day, both expected thins to warm up, but torrential rain soon put paid to that thought and after a night''s stop in
Rabat, the expected easing of cold temperatures did not materialise until they both reached Essouira, the beautiful and unspoiled fishing port south
of Casablanca.

A short day''s ride to Agadir is now being followed by a scheduled day off, before the Sahara is crossed.
