EASTBOURNE promoter Jon Cook wants the Elite League to retain its existing team-building criteria for next season.
Cook is hoping to give as many of last year''s team as possible the chance to improve on their fourth place finish.
He said: ''We need to say ''this is the Elite League, the points limit is 42.5.'' If you are coming into this league you have to make your plans accordingly.''

ARENA-ESSEX have agreed a deal with London-based film production company Duggo7 to take over as the Hammers'' main sponsors next season.
Arena boss Ronnie Russell is delighted with the interest shown in the sport by Duggo7 owner Stuart Douglas.
Russell said: ''We are glad to have Stuart on board, he is so keen and enthusiastic and his passion is for motorcycle sport.''
