LOOK GOOD WITH THE FUNKIEST 50CC MOTORBIKE THIS CHRISTMAS
17 November 2005 - SACHS Bikes

There aren’t many motor vehicles priced at under ₤1,000 that turn heads for all the right reasons, but the Sachs Madass has always been a machine that defies convention.

Sachs produced their first motorcycle in Germany in 1904, so they are not the type of company that one would expect to produce a bike as minimal and startling as the Madass.

Billed as “the ultimate 50cc motorcycle” the Madass has a tubular space frame incorporating a fuel tank, twin outlet under-seat exhaust, LED tail lights, mono-shock suspension, front and rear disc brakes and tri-spoke alloy wheels, giving it the appearance of a motorised mountain bike that has been beefed up with parts from a racing superbike. The packaged is topped off with ‘streetfighter’ style naked twin headlights.

Amazingly, because it is powered by a 50cc 4-stroke motor, the Madass is incredibly cheap to run and can be ridden by anyone aged 16 or over. Its high specification brakes and suspension deliver handling and stopping power more than capable of coping with today’s urban jungle, while its compact frame makes the Madass easy to hustle through city streets and simple to slot into the tightest of parking spaces.

The price of the Madass has been reduced to just ₤999.99 on the road until 31 December 2005. Get ‘em while they’re hot!
