EASTBOURNE boss Jon Cook wants to keep the bulk of his squad for next year''s Elite League title bid.

The Eagles sneaked into the play-offs with an impressive end to the year and Cook wants to stay loyal to his riders if it is possible.

But he warned: ''If the Elite League goes up to 11 teams at least one change will be necessary because of team building limits.''

STOKE chief Dave Tattum is hoping to start his team building for next season within the next week.

Premier League promoters will meet in a bid to agree the points limit for the sport''s middle tier.

Tattum said: ''Once we know the guidelines, we will start putting a team together. After a difficult season I really do hope we get a better run of luck next season.''
