Jones, 23, suffered severe injuries in the accident and died in a Melbourne Hospital.
Lynn co-promoter Keith Chapman said: ''Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and closest of friends after such a tragic end to the season. It''s at times like these when you really realise just how dangerous our sport is.''

BELLE VUE boss Ian Thomas has signed Kenneth Bjerre for a third season and forecast: ''He''s on the verge on being World class.''
The deal is subject to Bjerre making a complete recovery from the double leg fracture he suffered in Denmark at the end of August.
Thomas said: ''We''ve agreed terms and Kenneth will be back, subject to his fitness. He has assured me his medical advice says everything is okay.''
