READING promoter Pat Bliss insists the club has not been sold - despite continued speculation.

Grand Prix organisers BSI have been strongly linked with a move for the club to take them into the Elite League next season.

But a defiant Bliss said: ''Unless anything changes, Reading are a Premier League club and I have not sold the club to BSI. If anything changes, I''m sure people will know about it!''

MILDENHALL''S application to move into the Premier League next season should be decided this week.

Club bosses have approved the move in principle but the final decision will be with the sport''s management committee.

British Speedway chairman Peter Toogood said: ''The entry criteria for Mildenhall will be decided very soon. I have submitted my own thoughts on the matter, now it''s up to my colleagues to do the same.''
