NAVY GETS ON ITS BIKE FOR CHILDREN IN NEED

The Royal Navy Motorcycle Club will, once again, be donning motorcycle leathers and climbing on their bikes this autumn to raise money for the BBC’s Children in Need appeal

Between 8th and 19th November, the biking sailors will be riding around Navy bases and other Ministry of Defence establishments around the south on a variety of machines, some of which will be loaned by Honda via one of its south-coast dealers, Portsmouth Motorcycles.

In previous years, the Royal Navy Motorcycle Club has raised an average of £12,000 for the appeal, handing over the money live on television in the studios of BBC South.

The charity run will be highlighted in a Portsmouth Motorcycles advertising campaign to be broadcast on local radio station, Quay FM. The campaign will also feature a Honda treasure hunt and a variety of impressive prizes to be won by listeners.
