SANTIAGO CHOPPER’ 1ST ANNUAL “CHOPPERS FOR CHARITY”…BIKERS WITH BIG HEARTS
29 October 2005 - Santiago Chopper

Believe it or not, being a biker doesn’t just mean outlaws, loud tailpipes and tattoos. Biker’s have a big heart and they rev it up when called upon to help another.

On Oct. 21, 2005, during Biketoberfest®, Santiago Chopper of Tampa Bay officially launched their “Choppers for Charity” program at a press conference, scheduled for 10 AM at 1848 S. Ridgewood Ave. in Daytona Beach. Santiago will announce the winning non-profit and unveil the anticipated design of the completely free, fully custom chopper reflective of the winning non-profit’s mission.

“Choppers for Charity” is a one of a kind, annual program. Santiago Chopper has committed to donate a custom designed chopper each year during Bike Week in Daytona with the announcement of the winning non-profit during Biketoberfest. It’s the goal of Santiago Chopper to provide a unique marketing tool and provide fundraising opportunities to charity’s that are unable to undertake such endeavors otherwise. “We are excited to be able to give away our choppers to help others,” says Alan Bernard, Owner/Builder at Santiago.

All non-profit organizations across the United States are encouraged to submit an application for next year, beginning April 1, 2006 and ending July 31, 2006. Applications can be requested beginning January 1, 2006 by emailing application@ChoppersforCharity.com. A website with program details is under development and will be available in the coming months.

Each non-profit which applies, must present a solid plan for their use of the custom chopper. “There are so many ways that this donation will benefit the winning charities,” says Alan Bernard, “They can hold a raffle, use it at venues to create greater attention and even hold their own biker events.” “We bikers have big hearts,” says Alan, “but keep that kind of quiet. I’d hate to ruin my tough biker image!” www.SantiagoChopper.com
