CBR600RR RACE-REPLICA GIVE-AWAY
02 August 2004 - HM Plant
Despite the fact that this season’s British Supersport Championship has been more competitive than ever and produced a variety of winners, one thing remains the same - the peerless supremacy of Karl Harris on the HM Plant Honda Racing CBR600RR.
Riding the distinctive black and orange machine, Harris - the defending champion - has powered to victory in five of the nine races. His 36-point lead in the championship is proof that even the introduction of new rival machinery will not prevent him from reclaiming what he considers is his title. Honda Racing sponsor HM Plant is giving everyone the chance to win a road-going version of Harris’s all-conquering, CBR600RR race machine - which was last year’s best-selling motorcycle in the 600cc sports category. Naturally, it will be painted in the famous black and orange team colours and look almost exactly like the machine Harris races. For a chance to win the machine, entrants have to correctly answer one simple question: · Who is Honda Racing’s title sponsor for the 2004 British Superbike Championship? Choose from: (a) Castrol (b) HM Plant (c) Repsol (d) Sonneti. Entrants can call the competition line on 0907 1472205, or text the word HONDA plus the answer - a, b, c, or d - along with their contact details to 88010. The full terms and conditions of entry are listed on www.hmplant.ltd.uk The lucky winner (selected at random by the computer) will be announced during the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show (4-14 November) at the NEC in Birmingham. All proceeds from the competition will be donated to HM Plant’s official charity, the Butterwick Hospice - a hospice for children suffering from cancer and other terminal illnesses. Over the past few years, the company has helped to raise thousands of pounds for the unit.
